This weekend the Palmyra Police Officers Association (PPOA) was very busy. On Sunday the PPOA was presented a Pal-Riv basketball jersey for our donation towards the athletes uniforms as the league made its return this year. We were extremely fortunate to be apart of such a great program and want to thank everyone who helped bring back Pal-Riv basketball to our community.

Secondly, on Saturday the PPOA as well as the Riverton Police Department - NJ joined forces to help sponsor and participate in the second annual Spikes for Heart Volleyball Tournament held at the Palmyra High School. This fundraiser, which is run by the Panthers with Heart program, helps raise money for the American Heart Association. The tournament was a huge success and the officers from both departments had fun helping support a great cause.

This past Tuesday, 2/20/24 was the swearing in of our newest Patrolman, Scott Jaffe. We would like to take this time and welcome him as he starts the Field Training Program.

We are fortunate enough to welcome Ptlm. Jaffe as he brings to the department a variety of different experiences. Ptlm. Jaffe served in the United States Air Force where he was a Security Force Specialist as well as serving the North Wildwood Police Department as a Class II officer. If you see Ptlm. Jaffe patrolling the streets please take the time to welcome him to our great community.

All three did and are doing great work

Thank you for helping keep our precious gifts safe. ❤️

The best! Thank you for keeping everyone so safe!

We are so lucky to have had Officers Kendall and Maresca as SROs. Chatting with Officer Holloman, his professional background has consistently been working with kids even before going into law enforcement, we're lucky to have him as well!

Missing all my guys!!!

Annie loves her besties! ❤️ thank you for all you do to make our community safe. You all have made such a huge impact in our little peoples lives!

A large part of the outreach event is dedicated to assisting those with opiate additions and other health concerns. There will be plenty of agencies in attendance and able to assist. The best part of the event, IT"S FREE. So please spread the word and we look forward along with our partners in seeing you there.

Thank you for sponsoring this event.

It's game day Palmyra and with that said it’s no surprise that Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest days of enjoying alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately with that said the day brings a major spike in DUI and fatal accidents. Prior to enjoying the big game please designate a sober driver or plan to use one of the many ride services that are available. We ask that no one tonight adds to another tragic statistic and to always have fun responsibly. ... See MoreSee Less
