The Palmyra Police Department is a full service police department providing public safety services to residents and visitors to the Borough. The department’s mission is to provide professional and ethical public safety services in partnership with citizens to identify, prevent and solve the problems of crime, fear of crime, social disorder and neighborhood decay, thereby improving the quality of life in our community. The Palmyra Police Department prides itself on connecting with our community in various different ways throughout the year. Outside of answering calls for service and assisting the public on a day to day basis, the officers participate in community events such as, National Night Out, Adopt a Cop, Citizens Police Academy, Youth Police Academy, Palmyra Day, Halloween Parade, Trunk or Treat, Christmas gift giving to families in need, and by donating Thanksgiving meals to families in need. We care about the community we serve and enjoy the positive interactions that we have with the public on a daily basis.
