Documents Needed For A Police Release

  • These documents must be taken to the Police Department which impounded the vehicle in order to pick-up a Police Release.
  • The Police Release along with the documents needed to get the release must then be brought to Helmrich Transportation Systems, Inc. at 4450 Marlton Pike in Pennsauken, NJ Telephone: (856) 665-2666 Fax: (856) 665-1648
  • The Police Release releases the car and the contents altogether (nothing separately).

Charges due will only be given after the Police Release has been obtained.

If You Are Driving Your Vehicle Out
OR If Your Car Was Involved In A Motor Vehicle Accident

  • A valid Driver's License.
  • A valid Registration or Certificate of Ownership for the vehicle impounded.
  • A valid Insurance card for the vehicle impounded.

If Your Vehicle Is Being Towed Out Of The Impound Yard

  • A valid Driver's License.
  • An unblemished title or Certificate of Ownership for the vehicle impounded.

Note: Name & address must match on both documents

In the event that you are not the owner of this vehicle - please turn these information sheets over to the vehicle/owner so that they may obtain their Police Release as soon as possible. Thank you

We are not a body shop and/or mechanical repair facility.

Our location is only a temporary storage facility for your vehicle.

Please make arrangements to have your vehicle picked up as soon as possible. A storage charge is being assessed for each calendar day your vehicle is in our care, custody and control. This storage charge is in addition to any recovery, towing, transporting, administration, clean-up of debris, absorbents, additional labor, vehicle access/inspection or, if required, lot removal charges.

Hours for pick up of vehicles are as follows:
Monday through Friday: 8 AM to 4 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9 AM to 12 Noon

YOU MUST HAVE A POLICE RELEASE TO PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE.
